For some reason the comments stopped working when I updated the site a while ago, but I just found that a couple of days ago. But now it is working again so you can start posting comments again.

Too much to do and to little time...

Well, there will not be too much done on MSMQ Studio and the Typed Collection Wizard for a while. Anyway it hasn't been too much done on it the last year either.

Since August 14th I have been working only 50% of the time and 50% being home with our son who is now 16 months old. We are also soon going to rebuild our sons room, the hallway and the bathroom and we are going to do the most of the work ourselves. So there will not be too much time left for my own projects at least until this fall.

Installer problem

2007-02-16 15:08:03 by Kjell-Åke Gafvelin

We are using WiX to create an installer for our project which has some common assemblies that are installed in the GAC. When I created the installer-project I added the feature to allow it to upgrade from previous versions. Unfortunately this seems like there are some glitches either in my installer-project or in MSI so sometimes assemblies are not uninstalled or installed at all.

When I think about it it could be because of file version comparison. Some assemblies do have the file version set to I have to check this and come back with more info.

Ooohh, they're playing Mötley Crüe's You're All I Need on P3 Rockster right now! I just wish that they could play Helter Skelter or Too Fast For Love. What the heck, they could play anything from Too Fast For Love or Shout At The Devil and I would be really happy!

I solved the issue by making sure that the assembly now is properly versioned as the rest of the assemblies by using AssemblyInfoTask.
